I am no e-mail guru, but why are you not using Exchange mail? I have a
similar setup with 50 in=house users Outlook 2000, 2003 and 2007 and I
only use

Pop for my field reps, all 2 of them, everything works fine, we came
from a hosted e-mail solution with pop accounts with tons of problems
when I brought

e-mail in house I swore off pop except where absolutely necessary and I
am happy with the result.

Subject: [THIN] OT Exchange help

Server2003 SBS incl Exchange 2003

Outlook 2003 and 2007

POP3 set as default email, domain.local for internal, calendar sharing,
etc.

Problem 1 - Exchange seems to toggle itself as default - need to reset
POP3 acct to default at least daily.

Problem 2 - Exchange server sets outgoing POP3 mail server to localhost
occasionally.

What am I doing wrong?

Sorry for the OT and thanks in advance.

Mark
