[THIN] Ntvdm.exe Errors

I receive the following error on a Win2k Pro workstation SP2 at times.
Usually while running 16-bit apps so I'm told. Does anyone know a way to
resolve this as I couldn't find anything useful.
The application ntvdm.exe, generated an application error. The error
occurred on 04/09/2003 @14:15:21.666. The exception generated was 40000005
at address 77E8F142 (RaiseException)
