My users fairly regularly get this problem. The fix (which I got from this
list) is to create a .reg file as follows and get the user to run it.

----- below
REGEDIT4

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Photo Editor\3.0\Microsoft Photo
Editor]
"InitialPosition"=" 30,  30,  799,  571, "

----- above

Hope this helps,

Steve

Subject: [THIN] Microsoft Photo editor

Hi all,

sometimes with an users try to open an image file (usually *.jpg) attached
into an email (lotus notes),
the programs (Microsoft Photo Editor), starts but always remain minimized
and cannot show anything and
cannot close application too.

Does anybody have issues about this or you are using another program to
show images into a TS session?

(W2k Sp4 and MF 1 FR2)

Rgds,
