Does anyone have the above scenario in place ?
For a while now users have been complaining about session freezing,
sessions disconnecting, unreliability, slow logons -- general
performance and reliability issues.
I've applied as many registry edits ( ICA keep Alives,
TCPMaxWindowSize,TCPMaxRetransmissions, etc ) and updates to FR3. I've
followed the Citrix KB that discusses 'Troubleshooting Disconnected
Settings in CSG' , I've upgraded all hardware drivers and firmware, I've
cleaned the default printer spool registry key for each user upon login
into the server. At this point i'd like to know what exactly do i need
to verify or configure on the Checkpoint firewall to help sustain a
reliable connection to Citrix.
My exact environment as follows:
Metaframe XPe FR3/SP4 w/ Hotfix rollup XE104W2KR02
Wndows 2000 SP4 without update rollup version 2 of SP4 but with a hotfix
bundle provided by Dr. Conti and Citrix4ge
WI 2.0 with CSG 2.1 in the DMZ on the same server.
Clients are running verision 9.x
Firewall:
CheckPoint Firewall-1 NGX R60 on a Nokia IP380 running IPSO 3.9
Any feedback and/or help would be greatly appreciated.
