We use an MS Great Plains product, Solomon IV, via Citrix, starting from MF
XP 1.0 through SR1/FR1 and now SR2/FR2 without any problems.

I am not sure how the other Great Plains applications work, but a basic
rundown of how our Solomon IV environment is setup:

1 SQL Server, 1 MetaFrame XP server

The MF XP server has a full install of the software on it. Users connect to
the MF server via NFuse/Published Application and launch the application.
The application uses ODBC connections to hit the SQL server. Not much more
to it than that. Very basic install and setup for this particular Great
Plains application.

Subject: [THIN] MS Great Plains and Lotus Notes

Hi

We are looking at deploying MS Great Plains via Citrix XPe. We also use
Lotus Notes for email. Does anyone else use this environment and/or have
any comment on this combination of applications?

Thankyou in advance for your help.
