It's something to do with tray assignments. The app knows and uses the
LJ4100 assignments and gets confused if we use another driver.

Does it have to be postscript? We ran the 4100 as a LaserJet 4 Plus on
nt4TSE and things worked well.

Help!
I need a postscript driver for my LJ4100 printers that behaves under NT4TSE.
I am currently experiencing spooler lockups with ver 4.0.1381.300 and
according to the HP website I need v 4.50 or better to work under Terminal
Services. Unfortunately the only driver available on the website seems to be
ver 3.0.8 which is nevertheless the same one that I currently have when
installed.

Confused? Me too.

Anyway, can anyone point me towards a ver 4.50 driver or to a driver that
works for them under NT4TSE? Unfortunately a mapping isn't possible in this
case as the app is specifically coded for the 4100. It's crazy but what can
I do?

Many thanks
Angus
