Citrix MetaFrame XP Feature Release 3 Service Pack 3 Background When you perform an unattended silent installation of MetaFrame Service Pack 4, the server is rebooted automatically even if you have specified the appropriate switch not to reboot the server, for example: msiexec /update mfxpsp4w2k.msp /norestart /quiet Procedure prevent the server from rebooting automatically use the switches below in a script file or run it from a command prompt: msiexec /update mfxpsp4w2k.msp /norestart /passive Use the passive switch instead of the quiet switch Note: This is currently in escalation.
