Symptoms
Any new seamless session on any server in the farm starts into a non-seamless
window and has a color resolution of 16 colors instead of the default 256
colors. Session sharing is no longer working.
There is no error message. Shift + F2 does not change anything.
The same issue occurs with a new application and with a loop back connection.
RDP does work.
Cause
The value under maximum memory to use for each session graphic may have been
changed to 0 or 150 (or a value too small, see Help in the Management Console
for details about how to determine this) instead of the default value of 5625
KB.
This may have been caused by a corruption in the data store.
Resolution
From the Management Console, open the farm properties and select ICA settings.
Modify the maximum memory to use for each session graphic to 5625 KB.(or any
value above 150 depending on your user environment)
