To add to this...I would go blades for the Citrix servers and use VMWARE for the "accessory" servers (WI, CSG, DCs and other types of servers with low to mid utilization.) With ESX your buying REALLY big servers to get the same amount of power per VM as the blades. If your planning on supporting a lot of users, then I would go blades. VMWare just isn't designed to handle a large amount of users in a VM. You give up power because of the virtualization.
