I'm not really sure what happens on the SQL side. I don't think that line is needed in FR3, so we just deleted it. Side note: If I gave you the information I'd have to kill ya......;-) (Actually it's all on a mainframe and I have a hard enough time trying to find my account info!) _____ From: Robert K Coffman Jr - Info From Data Corporation [mailto:bcoffman@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx] Sent: Saturday, April 09, 2005 8:17 PM To: thin@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [THIN] Re: How to image a Win2k3 PS3 server Jennifer, We just discovered this in our VMWare based systems - doesn't cause a problem, however the SQL server shows a bunch of connections from the same server. What happens when this value is removed? It doesn't need to be replaced. I can't remember if access or MSDE has the same setting.... Works like a champ...... I am ready to ghost a Win2k3 PS3 server, I will follow the instructions on the PS3 Advanced concepts document. Does that not work? Basically: 1) Stop the IMA service and set it to Manual 2) Use Sysprep the server 3) Make image using Ghost 4) Deploy the image 5) Manually start the IMA service and make sure it joins the correct farm and zone Any help is appreciated.
