No Oracle support? That'll be the end of that idea then.

hmm.. bear in mind the 'not supported' list from citrix

Functionality Not Supported
The following list contains functionality not supported by this version
of Citrix Presentation Server:
        * Novell NDS
        * Smart cards
        * Philips SpeechMike
        * Installation of Network Manager plug-ins (monitoring of
Presentation Server x64 Edition is supported using plug-ins installed on
supported platforms). Refer to the Network Manager Administrator's Guide
<http://support.citrix.com/kb/entry%21default.jspa?categoryID=619&extern
alID=CTX106453> for details about supported platforms.
        * Secure ICA
        * .NET 2.0
        * Client Database and Distribution wizard
        * Oracle
        * Port sharing between IIS and XML service
        * TWAIN (supports 32-bit applications only)

        Functionality Supported through Interoperability with 32-Bit
Servers
        The following components must be installed on a 32-bit server:
                * Installation Manager Packager for Citrix Presentation
Server (see "Using Installation Manager Packager to Create Packages"
below)
                * The Citrix license server and the License Management
Console
                * Conferencing Manager for Citrix Presentation Server
                * Web interface for Citrix Presentation Server

And I recall reading a Ms article about issues with 32bit plugins and
macros in office.. see if I can dig out the link...

Sounds like very well suited to run most 32 bit applications then?

The 64-bit of PS4 is really the 32-bit version with only those
components upgraded that needed to be to run in 64-bit (for example,
printing being the biggest piece).

How many more users can it scale to vs. 32bit presentation server or
compared to XP when running a 32 bit app?
Have there been any issues with it and how long has it been out? Would
you run a mission critical app on it at this relatively early stage in
it's development? Ie. how stable has it proven to be?
