lovely error. is it happening to all users or just one?

permissions?

Try this....back out their username on the home folder on the account setup
and replace it with %username% and hit ok.  It should tell you that the
folder already exists and offer to make that user the owner of the folder.
Click yes to that offer and it shoud slam the permissions back in place for
that folder.  See of they still have a problem.
