Hi Toby,

Thought I could help too!

I used these guys very recently (a couple of months ago) for 2 failed drives

http://www.easyrecovery.co.uk/

Had the job done within a couple of days and cost was good, special 50%
offer still available, fixed price

Good luck

Shyam

Hello Mark,

I have used Cherry systems in Marietta Ga. http://www.cherrysystems.com/
They did a good job of recovering the data.

We've used OnTrack before. Once for a successful recovery. The other time
the drive was too badly damaged to be recovered. We chose OnTrack because
they make tools that a lot of other recovery places use.

It was $100 to diagnose and see what could be done per drive, then the price
went into the thousands depending on the amount of data needing to be
recovered.

Does anyone have actual first hand experience with a data recovery firm that
they can recommend?

I can research what's out there, but I'm looking for real experiences -
hopefully not costing an arm and a leg...

Thanks,

Mark
