A recent new addition to our team at Ctrl-Alt-Del IT Consultancy, Mr Jaffa
Manwell, has been reading a lot of posts about the limitation of the NET USE
command in relation to mapping beyond COM9: in a Citrix session. To assist
anyone who has experienced this problem without a solution, Jaffa has whipped
up this handy utility.

I have posted the utility on the Ctrl-Alt-Del IT Consultancy website at
http://www.ctrl-alt-del.com.au/CAD_TSUtils.htm

*****************************************************************************************************
CTXCOMMAP is a command-line tool to enable a user to map serial ports beyond
COM9: in a Citrix Server Session.

This utility was written to respond to public requests to address the
limitations of the NET USE command found in the MS Windows Operating System.
NET USE is limited in being able to map COM ports beyond COM9:. In a
Citrix Server environment, it is sometimes required to map ports greater than
COM9:. This Utility was written to function in Citrix environments ONLY.

WARNING: CTXCOMMAP can only be run in Citrix Client Sessions.
Executing this tool in any other environment such as MS Terminal Server or
standard MS Windows will result in an undesired experience.

This utility is FREEWARE and was written by Jaffa Manwell of
  Ctrl-Alt-Del IT Consultancy, Australia. www.ctrl-alt-del.com.au

  Usage:
  CTXCOMMAP local_device [remote_device] [/d] [/?]

local_device The name of the local device that will appear
                           to the user.
remote_device The name of the remote share or device.
       /d [Optional] Delete the
local device.
       /? This help information.

CTXCOMMAP with no parameters displays currently connected network and serial
  port mappings.
  E.G. CTXCOMMAP COM18: \\CLIENT\COM1:
This command will create a SESSION device COM18: within a Citrix Session
session, which is mapped to a client device in COM1:.

every effort possible to ensure that CTXCOMMAP is free of any bugs or errors,
