I forgot 2598 is the default port; however you can set it to your preference. -Eric S. Basically we upgraded a server from XP FR3 to Presentation server 3.0, everything on the LAN worked fine, and everything in WI worked fine from outside. However Program Neighborhood and Agent would fail outside the LAN, with no errors on the server, and the old server not accepting connections error on the client. Well we did all the simple stupid stuff, checked alt address, verified firewall mapping, and telnet'ed to the 1494 port. All worked fine. What we found out was that we enabled session reliability, and that we forgot to map that port to the farm. Nothing tells you to look at this as the problem, and all the articles online are related to failed 1494 connections. We completely forgot about Session reliability, until the client was tried with it turned off (all of our clients were rolled out with it enabled) Anyway maybe it will be helpful for someone, or maybe we were just stupid for not checking this!!!! Have a great day -Eric S. The problem started immediately after we upgraded from Metaframe XP to Presentation server 3.0 on Windows 2003 Server. The upgrade went smoothly and there are no errors or anything to indicate a problem. Everyone is able to connect properly while on the LAN as well as able to connect from outside when using the Web interface. The only error message we get is: "The Citrix Metaframe server you have selected is not accepting connections." Has anyone experienced this or know of any issues related to this behavior.
