It's not that you have local but map caching turned on with the XP Client is it? Just an idea? The stangest thing is that the citrix session is slow, so logged on to e.g. application desktop on a Dual 1.4Ghz server the performance is like a 386 with windows installed. Connecting to the same app from a w2k client it runs fine. Also when shadowing the session on the server (the one running on the winxp client) and working in that shadowed session on the server shows th sloweness is on the client and not in the session itself. Maybe it's a tuning thing, but I can't find anything about it so far........ I tried various settings with the ica client from going as fat as possible to as thin as possible with every time the same result. I'm running blank on this one. Comparing this with my own laptop (w2k), on my own laptop it runs normal. Anyone had any similair experiences with FW-1 VPN clients on WinXP? The vpn client is the Checkpoint 1 VPN remote NG any ideas are welcome grx Rob *********************************************** For Archives, to Unsubscribe, Subscribe or set Digest or Vacation mode use the below link. http://thethin.net/citrixlist.cfm ------------------------------------------------------------------------ -------------------------------------------- The information contained in this e-mail is confidential and may be subject to legal professional privilege.
