To be honest I think this board is the "Advanced" discussion board for
Citrix issues. I have been (as have most of you) to all the boards. And
this is the place to be.

1- Project Willamette 1.7 BETA (for NFuse 1.7) released!

ISC Networks is proud to announce the new BETA release of Willamette
-Version 1.9.
Willamette adds RSA SecurID login integration to NFuse 1.7 . This
changes the user experience from two separate pages of distinct
authentication (SecurID and the NFuse domain authentication) to a single
integrated login page where the user is authenticated to both SecurID
and
their login domain to present them with a list of applications.
The following changes have been made with this release since version
Willamette 1.0:
* ADDED NFuse 1.7 support.
* REMOVED Multiple Domain support.
* REMOVED Connection Speed drop down
Additionally, since WLM 1.7 is NFuse 1.7 based and there is no Columbia
for
NFuse
1.7, the following features are also removed:
* REMOVED Multiple Metaframe Farm Support
* REMOVED Multiple NFuse Sites on the Same Web Server Support
Unfortunately these features have been lost since the NFuse 1.7 codebase
was
used rather than Columbia. As we said - we're delivering a quick
cut-down
release to try to relieve some of the pain the citrix community is
experiencing with SecurID integration post NFuse 1.7.
We may be persuaded to add features to WLM, such as those which were
lost
between 1.0, and 1.9 - if the demand is there - let me know.
After BETA, this product will become Willamette 2.0
The documentation is simple and functional, and we'll improve on this
post
BETA. Please do read the documentation, and be aware that this is a
product
supported on a best endeavours basis by ISC alone - neither Citrix, nor
RSA
Security will provide support.

2- Advanced Concepts Guide for MetaFrame XP FR2 released

In case you have been in a coma lately (or you missed Doug's
announcement)
Citrix recently released the latest version of the Advanced Concepts
guide
for MetaFrame XP, which includes updates for FR2. If you are serious
about
the MetaFrame technologies, you should include this information packed
document in your 'must read' arsenal. It can be found at
http://www.citrix.com/support/Default.asp. To find the doc from there,
choose the 'Product Documentation' link, the 'MetaFrame XP App. Server
for
Windows' link, choose the language, then the version of MetaFrame XP,
and
you are off to the races.

3- Citrix ICA Tech Preview client for the MAC OS X released

Technology Preview of the new Citrix Mac OS X Client which is now

release provides updated client features as well as native support for
the
new Mac OS X operating system from Apple. The technology preview is
designed to provide customers early access to the Mac OS X client for
testing and evaluation purposes.

4- Advanced Citrix Discussion boards now live on Citrix Developer
Network
site
Recently Citrix launched a new discussion board service on the Citrix
Developer Network site (http://www.citrix.com/cdn) using some very cool
technology from QUIQ. Features of the new discussion forum include
personalization, proactive email alerts, member and/or topic
subscriptions,
and feedback ratings. The new discussion forum also allows CDN members
to
become enthusiasts and create a member following. Citrix also has
'Experts'
that monitor the boards and provide answers/feedback where possible.
Certainly worth checking out.
Please note: utilizing the CDN discussion boards DOES require you to
have a
CDN membership, however they are free. Additionally, once signing up,
you
will have instant access to all CDN content including the discussion
boards...
