Hi Michael,

The runaway mouse issue is simple. You have a fast back-end system, and a
slight lag between the user and server responses. If you're a bit slow on a
really fast workstation (stand-alone) you can get exactly the same issue.

A faster and less dated ICA client helps a lot, but changing how users do
large scale selections is the easiest fix.

Regards,

Rick

Jim, as always, you provide excellent help. This still does not seem to
work for my shop and I was wondering if there was any hope of it going away
with MetaframeXP. We run 1.8 and have NCD ThinSTARS and have some heavy
spreadsheet users in the Finance department that "hate" Citrix because of
the run-away mouse in Excel problem.

Thank you, I have tried this, and it worked for the column insert and
removals but not for the drag. Any ideas?

Regards,

Dan

I have a problem when using the terminal to access a published desktop. When
selecting a range of cells in Excel the cell range extends continuously even
when the mouse button is released. Also when inserting or deleting columns
there is a long delay in updating the screen. Has anyone come across this
issue at all?

TIA
Dan
