FYI - for a non-scripted, GUI tool that can create some very detailed
reports in comparing directory structures, or even the contents of INI
files. Take a peek at Beyond Compare. Very handy software.

Check the Windows 2000 Resource Kit utility called ROBOCOPY. It's made
to keep directories synchronized. However, I think it has a "preview"
mode so you can have it compare directories without actually fixng them
up.

I am trying to write a simple script that will compare a source
directory to directories on other servers and make sure they all match
the source directory. Anyone have a suggestion? I have seen software
but was wanting to be able to some kind of script to do it quickly and
easily.

        Thanks,
