[THIN] Deleted printers still available

On a W2K SP2 XPe FR2 system, I have deleted the drivers out of the registry
and Settings, Printers. However, after two days (and 5 reboots), the
drivers still show up in the CMC. The XP Advanced Concepts guide (first
page of Chapter 8) says that on restarting the IMA service, it synchronizes
the data store with the registry and will remove any drivers from the
datastore not found in the registry.
So, why do my deleted drivers still appear in the CMC?
