Hi Nick,

If you add the following line to usrlogon.cmd:

subst t: "%temp%"

That'll give you a writable T: drive that you can specify as a working
directory.

regards,

Rick

Subject: [THIN] Client side mapping

Hi all
I am in the midst of setting up a new farm and with the new one I wanted to
do away with logon scripts
Previously I was mapping a specific drive for data relating to the
application being run, this would also be the working directory
Instead I wanted to have a direct reference to that directory via a share
So the working directory would be \\servername\applicationdata\
<file:///\\servername\applicationdata\>
But it seems that the user gets a mapping to the root drive of the MF
server, but without the appropriate permissions to use it

Is there an easy way to have the working directory for any application
appear as a network drive/share during the user session?

Thanks Nick
