That depends on the applications that will be running but I would be
reasonably happy about supporting 40 users on each of those servers. In
fact, I only recently retired 10 DL360s (Dual 800Mhz, 2GB RAM) running NT4
that were happily supporting 40+ users each for general desktop apps without
breaking a sweat.

Hi All,

I has a task to install WIN2K3SP1 and CPS4.0 in HP Prolient DL380 G3 servers
(3)which is having Xeon 2.80GHz Processess (4) ,Physical Memory 3GB, Virtual
Memory 2GB. This is very old server.

We have around 120 users to use this facility.

Do i face any problem in the long term after installing Win2k3 and CPS4.0 in
these model servers which are 4 - 6 years old?

with regards

Anantha
