Unbelievable. I thought I was running the latest client but I wasn't. Upgrading to .1051 fixed the problem. Thanks so much!!! ----Original Message Follows---- From: "Rowlandson, John" <John.Rowlandson@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Reply-To: thin@xxxxxxxxxxxxx To: <thin@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Subject: [THIN] Re: Citrix Client and Windows XP Date: Fri, 15 Nov 2002 08:54:48 +1100 Are you running 6.3.1050 or 6.3.1051 ?? 1051 has a lot of fixes for slow connection times.. Apparently .985 or .986 was the last good one before the bug was introduced. 7.x client looks nice too -----Original Message----- From: Doggy Mommy [mailto:k9momof3@xxxxxxxxxxx]=20 Sent: Friday, November 15, 2002 8:51 AM To: thin@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [THIN] Citrix Client and Windows XP Hi all. I'm running the 6-3v. of the citrix client on a Windows XP Pro=20 machine. It takes about 3 minutes to boot to the metaframe desktop (just=20 shows a black screen for 3 minutes). If I use task manager to end it before=20 the desktop shows and then go directly back into it, the desktop comes up=20 right away. Anybody know how to speed this up? We're running Metaframe XPs on the server. TIA!!! _________________________________________________________________ Help STOP SPAM with the new MSN 8 and get 2 months FREE* =20 http://join.msn.com/?page=3Dfeatures/junkmail ***********************************************=20 For Archives, to Unsubscribe, Subscribe or=20 set Digest or Vacation mode use the below link. http://thethin.net/citrixlist.cfm *********************************************** For Archives, to Unsubscribe, Subscribe or set Digest or Vacation mode use the below link. http://thethin.net/citrixlist.cfm _________________________________________________________________ Help STOP SPAM with the new MSN 8 and get 2 months FREE* http://join.msn.com/?page=features/junkmail *********************************************** For Archives, to Unsubscribe, Subscribe or set Digest or Vacation mode use the below link. http://thethin.net/citrixlist.cfm
