I just figured this out and thought it might help someone else on the list:

You are trying to change your password from NFuse and you get the message
"Change Password Operation Failed" but if your domain account is set to
"User Must Change Password at Next Logon" there is no error when you change
the password via NFuse.

Take a look at http://tinyurl.com/66njz. You can actually set this in HLKM
despite the fact the article says HKCU. It can also be set in a GPO, in
which case it does go into HKCU.

If the key is not there, it seems to display properties from both the 0 and
1 setting. Your Change Password button still works but you can't change the
password from anywhere (ie. the NFuse webpage).

Add the key and set it to 0 on the servers you have listed in the the
MetaFrame Servers page of NFuse Administrator. Works in a Windows 2000 AD
domain. WI 2.0. MetaFrame XP SP3/FR3.

If you are running NDS, there are solutions in the Citrix KB regarding this
issue.

Anyway, hope this helps anyone with this issue. It had been brought up in
the Citrix forums and thethin archives and I didn't see an answer for it.

Tyler Kinchen
