Sounds like your firewall isn't allowing the external traffic into the
Citrix server or you don't have an alternative address published on the
Citrix server. Try getting the vendor to right click the Citrix web
interface icon and then do a "save as". Have him email you that *.ica
file and use a text editor to open it. You should see the address of the
server it is trying to contact and I suspect this will show you where
the problem is located.

Subject: [THIN] Caymas and Citrix.

Hello Everyone.

We are using Caymas as a way to access our company's network externally,
we are trying to give an outside vendor access to a citrix published
application thru our Web Interface server. The vendor is able to see
the published application, but when he clicks on it, he gets the
'connection in progress" but after a few seconds another message is
displayed, "Cannot connect to the citrix metaframe server There is no
citrix metaframe server configured on the specified address".
The vendor's PC has the web client installed, the published application
works well when we connect internally.
Is anybody using Caymas or similar product that is working on your
environments, or anybody has any suggestions on where to start looking.

We are using Citrix Metaframe 1.0 SP3 FR2, W2K SP4, WI2.1

Thank you in advance for your suggestions.

-Jose.
