Not sure about deleting the registry key, but have you tried to un-register the OCXs which may still be registered from the previous install. Use "regsvr32 -u filename.ocx" to un-register. Hope this helps. We're currently in the process of installing an application on our Windows NT 4.0 Terminal Services Edition (SP6) Server. Through various problems we've had to uninstall the application and try again. During the install, the application installs and self registers various OCX files. There are 2 OCX files however that the installer cannot register. Using the Regmon utility I've managed to determine that the problem is caused insufficient permissions on a HKCR\TypeLib key. Using regedt32 I've tried to change the permissions and event delete this key in the hope I can manually register it. However I keep getting an error saying 'Error while deleting key'. Can anyone help me remove this offending key? TIA, Rab. ========================================================= Robert Jackson Phone: +44 (0) 141 332 7999 Software Engineer Fax: +44 (0) 141 331 2820 Walker Martyn Ltd 1 Park Circus Place Email: rab@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Glasgow G3 6AH, Scotland Web: http://www.walkermartyn.co.uk ========================================================= ************************************************************************ The information in this internet E-mail is confidential and is intended solely for the addressee.
