Hi Hector,

Do you mean making an image of that partition, or writing it to that volume?
If you formated it NTFS you cannot write an image to it.

I've never had any issues making images of extended partitions, never used a
switch for that either.

I tried to make an image of a server which has an extended volume and I
couldn't even see the partition. I was using Ghost 7.0.  Could anyone tell
me if there's a switch I need to use or maybe Ghost 7.5 can handle these
volumes?
