[THIN] Auto-restored client printers

All,

We have a group of external users that keep having auto-restored client
printers show up in their Citrix sessions to our farm.

I'm not aware of anything in our farm that would create this auo-restored
client printers (my understanding is that it's a manual process of an
administrator calling the addprinter function that creates these things).

All these users are connecting to our CAG/AAC/WI setup from the Internet.

All these folks are using passthrough Citrix sessions. After getting in
via the CAG/AAC/WI, they launch a published Internet Explorer on one set
of Citrix servers and then launch additional Citrix sessions to our other
servers from there.

Here's what I've noticed so far...
All these users are offsites for the same company, so they're all
connected by WAN links and have access to each others print servers and
printers. Although they don't use each others print servers or printers
and don't have them mapped on their client computers.
These auto-restored client printers are showing up in both the first
(passthrough) and second Citrix sessions.
Both the client computers and the Citrix passthrough servers are running
the version 10.2 Citrix client (PN).
All these auto-restored client printers are showing up in the format of
"Client/WING_unknown#///printerserver/printer" within the Citrix session.
When these auto-restored client printers show up one of them is always
selected as the default printer.
I've verified that the printers are in the
HCU\Software\Citrix\PrinterProperties key on the client computer and in
the server-side roaming profile. We've tried deleting the entries out of
the client computer's registry, but they inevitably show up again.
We've tried deleting these printers within the Citrix session using the
File -> Print dialog box of the application (right-click on the printer
name and select delete). The printers are removed for the duration of
that session, but they inevitably show up again on next logon.
If I logon as one of the effected users on my workstation, I don't get
these auto-restored client printers.

We've contemplated using... http://support.citrix.com/article/CTX117805 to
disable auto-restored client printers, but right now we're at CPS 4.0/R03
and we'd need to be at R05 to do this.

So, does anybody know...
If Citrix somehow identifies which client to use the auto-restored client
printers with? More specifically, if I log in as one of the affected
users and the printers are in the account's roaming profile, why don't
these printers show up in that Citrix session for me?
If there's a script or something that's creating this auto-restored client
printers on a different Citrix farm and storing the information in the
client computer's registry, would/could these show up in a session to our
Citrix farm?

Thanks,
Tony
