If you don't get an answer, you could use the 'set default printer' app
and let them do it themselves.=20
PowerFuse does it for us...

Does anyone know how to set the default printer for a user or a group
of users that do not have local printers (i.e. thin clients or fat
clients that are in their own workgroup)? We have a bunch of
printers we imported from a print server (using the CMC) and assigned
groups to those printers. The printers auto create just fine, but
there are some users that need to have a default printer defined.
Any ideas on this one?
