i had to turn off memory optimizations in 4.0 for the arcmap product

ArcGIS is the editor, it includes ArcMap and ArcInfo. It is used to make the files that you are reading with ArcReader.

We're running ArcExplorer and ArcReader without any problems. Didn't have to do any tweaks to them. Is ArcGIS the editor or the new version of Explorer/Reader?
