On a normal server/workstation, most all application files are installed on c:\, with logs and data going to d:\(or other data drive). Is it best to go this route on Terminal Servers? Can you install some apps on d:\? (Might help if you have multi-channeled RAID controllers). Is it different on NT 4.0 then on W2K boxes? Should d:\ be a separate physical drive or RAID set? Or can it be the second partition on 2 mirrored (hardware RAID) disks? Or is the answer to this "Depends"?? ;-) I'd appreciate links to any white papers or docs that might be floating around on this subject. Thanks!
