I don't know if it is too late to answer, but the answer can be found at the following link..http://www.hummingbird.com/exceedusers/sep2003/0005.html. It seems MS made a change in Win2000 SP4 that breaks Exceed. If you follow the recommendation in the post on the Hummingbird web site, the issue is resolved. Hope this helps. Sincerely, Michael T.
