After working on this for hours on end, I had it and gave up. Does not work reliably even though some got it to work in some way or another. I have tried console login as admin, did not work nor do I want to auto login an admin. Have made service system accounts for acrotray & distiller, that also did not work for users. What did I do? Ended up looking for replacement acrobat and ended up with PDF995. PDF Factory and others work, but for simple pdf writing, PDF995 worked fine. Adobe is too stubborn to get this to work with TS, so we can all vote them out and use someone else's program. Acrobat 4.0 worked fine on our TS2000 servers BTW. -----Original Message----- From: thin-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:thin-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Minero Hector B DLVA Sent: Tuesday, May 11, 2004 12:13 PM To: 'thin@xxxxxxxxxxxxx' Subject: [THIN] Re: Adobe Acrobat 6.0 How are people getting Acrobat 6.0 to work on Terminal Server? I can't seem to get Distiller to work. Please....... If you are currently using Acrobat 6.0 (with Distiller) with no problems, share the information. Publish Adobe Acrobat for group of 3 people, limit 1 instance per user and total 3 instances in your farm (this way your licenses will always be right). Then publish Acrobat Reader for everybody. I think you can further secure your pdf creation by assigning NTFS permissions to pdf printer that is installed with Adobe Acrobat 6.0.
