odd. I have been able to get in running on a Wyse 3350 SE which is CE = 3.0 based (it might be 2.0) I did it by using an oddball com port like COM5. If the com ports are properly enabled, you will see them as choices in = the client printer configuration utility. It sounds like you have them = on though. -----Original Message----- From: Chris Green [mailto:ChrisG@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx] Sent: Wednesday, February 19, 2003 7:26 PM To: thin@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [THIN] Re: Active Sync and Window CE terminals That was my first though, I tried a Compaq T30 with CE.Net, I made sure the com port was unlocked as they say. I also tried it today on a NCD thinstar 450, I looked through the settings and did not see any port locks, or anything disabled. I logged in as my self, and deleted the com1 mapping, and recreated it with net use to make sure it was correct, still no go. I works fine if you sync via a session on a regular workstation. -----Original Message----- From: Greg Reese [mailto:GReese@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx]=3D20 Sent: Wednesday, February 19, 2003 4:20 PM To: thin@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [THIN] Re: Active Sync and Window CE terminals some thin clients have the com ports disabled by default. What model = =3D =3D3D thin client are you using? did you map the com port in their citric session? I have set up active sync per all the questions and answers in the archives, and the FAQ. We can sync just fine on a real workstation, but when we try to sync via a terminal with Windows CE, or CE.net active sync cannot find anything on the cradle. I double checked the setting, but still can't seem to get it to work. Any idea? =3D3D3D20 Chris=3D3D3D20 =3D3D3D20 ********************************************************* This Week's Sponsor - Neoware=3D3D3D20 Now through March 31, 2003=3D3D3D20 Neoware is offering a Capio 500/Eon Proven 2100=3D3D3D20 for $299!
