[THIN] Access gateway hardware issue?

Curious if anyone else may have run into this problem.

We ordered an Access Gateway 2010 unit for our DR site. When it arrived and
one of our techs started to configure it, we noticed that the fan on the
power supply appeared broken.

By broken I mean -

 - fan wouldn't spin up on power on
 - fan couldn't be spun manually - seemed completely stuck.

We called in an RMA on the unit, got a second unit and it had the exact same
issue.

When we called in an RMA for the new unit, our vendor got a response from
Citrix tech support that seemed to indicate that the fan on the power supply
is not supposed to spin up???

Having since cracked the case open to look at the system's setup, there are
3 fans (with an airflow cover) in the main body of the system, which would
help suck heat off the CPU and main-board. But the power supply only seems
to have the "stuck fan" to cool it down.

At this point we're gonna stick with the "it's broken, please fix it" with
our vendor and citrix support. Unless anyone here can confirm that the power
supply fan on the AG 2010 units is "just there for looks" and not meant to
actually . . you know . . function.

Thanks all,

Lan
