Sascha,=20 That option is certainly doable at this site. However, my preference would of course be to remove the users ability to even see FTP as an option. Since I've seen posts in various places mentioning issues with restricting access to this option with Office versions dating back to office 97, I'm kinda thinking I'm going to have to go with the workarounds on this one.=20 Placing restrictive permissions for users on the files that are used to add/modify FTP locations only causes errors within Office.=20 Thanks for the response, if a valid solution other than a work around is found for this, I will make sure to pass it on.=20 J -----Original Message----- From: Pape Sascha [mailto:Sascha.Pape@xxxxx]=20 Sent: Tuesday, June 10, 2003 3:00 PM To: thin@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [THIN] AW: Restricting Add/modify FTP from office XP Hi Jim=3D20 We ran into the same issue and decided to block FTP access by using a = =3D Security Policy (block Port 21 outwards).
