[THIN] Re: 2003 pauses

I don't know what thread your talking about, but one thing you can check
is to make sure your NIC settings are hard coded at the NIC and at the
switch, if you're using a switch. You can hard code them to 100/Half or
100/Full, doesn't matter, as long as they're matching on both sides and
hard coded. Sometimes there are problems with letting these things
auto-negotiate.

I've looked in the archives and didn't see this, but a few weeks ago,
someone mentioned that he was having a problem that 2003 was "pausing"
for
a bit.  I thought someone posted a link to a KB article.  WHen I search
on
pausing, freezing, etc..I get back results that are not useful.  Here's
the
issue..I can be either in a rdp/ica session, or at the console, at the
server will seem to freeze for about 10 seconds.  This is my first 2003
w/
MF so I am not sure what to expect but pausing isn't on my list.
