Hello Listeners,
If you were listening to Flashback Friday earlier today, you may have noticed
how I dropped out roughly halfway through my show, and never came back. You
might also recall announcements concerning how I lost Internet and could never
finish my show. Well it turns out, there was a power surge during the show,
which caused my modem to become fried, and not work anymore. I’ll be getting a
new one from Spectrum, my Internet service provider, but the technician can’t
come out until Monday to replace it. Therefore, I’m offline all weekend other
than using the LTE network on my phone, which is how I’m typing right now, and
thus, no edition of The Grab Bag this weekend I’m afraid. Though had I been
able to do my show, I would have had to forego the surprise I hinted at
possibly having when briefly talking about my next show on last week’s edition
of The Grab Bag. You see, this surprise, I had initially sent here via Fedex,
which the people who drive the Fedex trucks, have no way into my apartment
building, causing me to miss the delivery. I could then ask for a refund, or
have the surprise shipped via a different method, and thus, I chose the ladder,
and have decided to have it shipped the standard shipping method, via USPS,
which means this surprise I’m promising you listeners, could literally, show up
next Saturday afternoon during my show. Time will tell, and you’ll have to wait
until next week, to find out, provided this special surprise, arrives in time.
And again, it’s a surprise, so you’ll have to wait and see what I have in
store, once I’m able to present to you all, Episode 20 of The Grab Bag. For now
though, please enjoy your weekend, stay tuned to the other programming we have
to offer at The Q Online, and I do apologize for the inconvenience, but sadly,
that’s technology for ya. It’s great when it works, but when it fails to work
properly, bummer!
