Yeah I like the windows version. However, I haven't had a computer hooked up
in over 2 years now. No room here so it's still boxed up from when we moved.
LOL.

Yeah, it is a Beta app; you need to download the testflight app on your
iPhone, then you can get the beta of Goldwave.
Personally, I'm sticking with the windows version.
They have goldwave version 6.X now, don't know if that still works with the
Jaws scripts like V. 5.72 does.

I looked for the gold wave app for iOS and it doesn't appear to be in the app
store. Maybe they're calling it something else. LOL.

Karen,
The latest scripts for Goldwave are at Doug Lee's site Dlee.org
He has a bunch of scripts for a lot of other programs for Jaws, as he's a
professional script-writer.
The scripts for GoldWave 5.67 and up are at
https://dlee.org/goldwave/
I will try to transfer my notes that I occasionally reference over to my pc
and send them to you. Probably not get around to that until first of next
week.

Wow. Amazing.
I have gold wave but have not worked with it in a long time.
When I started, I was still using windoweyes.
I am going to go in and find out about purchasing a mixer or processor that
can add affects.
I however am very interested in something that will work and be accessible
like gold wave.
I do have jaws now so scripts might be helpful.
Thanks to all for the info, I know I will figure it out.
Really, I’m not looking just now to create tracks but just piano and vocal
that sound finished instead of like a living room recording.
Best, Karen
P. S. Steve how can I look into scripts or get more info about gold wave and
then the question is are there any tutorials that could help me learn the
process?

Karen,
I don't know what you have for a computer, or if you are using the Mac or
Windows 10.
You can use a slightly more advanced audio editor such as Goldwave. There
are scripts and an "accessibility" option that you can enable in the
Goldwave setup options.
You can try it for free, which gives you a limited amount of edits; and
purchase it for I think $49.
Somewhere, I have notes from a seminar about using Goldwave, which although
it was fifteen years ago, are still for the most part relevant, except that
there have been some added bells and whistles since then.
There is a version of Goldwave that you can download for the iPhone, using
IOS 11 or later. The developer says they are "working on accessibility"
with the IOS version; it is somewhat accessible -- from what I understand,
more so than Garage Band.

Hi everyone,
I create a video every weekend where I sing and play the piano. It is put up
on Facebook and YouTube for a church I work for.
I am using my iPhone and a studio quality mic.
The problem is that because I can’t control levels (the gain) and there are
no effects possible to add to vocals, it sounds a little homemade. Lol.
I have been singing professionally since the 60’s, yeah I know that’s making
me old, but if anyone knows anything about recording, I would love to talk
with them.
Thanks in advance, I have spoken to apple accessibility, all they can
recommend
Is Garage band which has a lot on the screen using voiceover and if it is
possible to find something a little simpler just for voice and adding some
simple reverb that would be wonderful.
Best, Karen
