Well, I had a very interesting conversation with Apple today. First of all, I
was totally embarrassed when I called them to help me determine a delete note
issue. But that wasn’t the biggest issue. Apparently, they believe anyway,
someone Chinese, got my IPhone email ID, and hacked into my calendar. On every
day, I was seeing 3 and sometimes 5 events on every day. The events said they
needed to be replied to, and I was scared to reply to them. It totally stumped
the first representative I spoke with and he even connected with my phone and
saw the events which were written in Chinese. There was a series of words,
then numbers, then a link at the end of the event note. So, the advanced
representative also connected to my phone and he had me reply to the event,
then decline it, and then save to all repeated events. I’m so glad I had Apple
on the phone, as like I said before, I was scared to reply. But after the
problem was solved then I backed up my ICloud, to make sure that the messed up
calendar wasn’t in the cloud. So, it was an interesting afternoon for sure.
Just thought I’d share it with you. They checked my settings etc. and found
everything to be fine other than the calendar.
