Good Afternoon All,
Saturday, May 11 Technology Club is back with two presentations. Pat Love,
coordinator of the Michigan Department of Education Low Incidence Outreach
(MDE-LIO)
Technology Team will give us her impressions of the 2019 CSUN conference. CSUN
is
one of the largest assistive technology conferences in the country. It took
place
March 11-15 in Anaheim, California.
Scott Norris will demonstrate the Braillenote Touch. The Braillenote Touch is
a
multifunction note taker that runs on the Android operating system. You can use
the
Touch with the braille key keyboard or the touch screen. The You access output
from
the Touch via voice or the refreshable braille display. The Touch offers word
processing, e-mail, Internet access, and more.
Technology Club meets from 10:30-12:30 in the BTBL public service area on the
first
floor of the Library of Michigan across from the elevators.
If you're interested in staying for lunch from 12:30-1:30 we order out from one
of
the local sub shops.
One hour after the BTBL Technology Club ends the BTBL Book Club meets from
1:30-3:00.
We meet in the BTBL public service area located on the first floor

A memoir by The former First Lady, the first African American in that role.
Obama
recounts her childhood in Chicago, her years balancing motherhood and her

Memoir exploring the author's path from being raised in a fundamentalist,
paranoiac
Mormon family where she was homeschooled to eventually working her way to

degrees at Cambridge and Harvard. Discusses hardships faced by the family,
abuse at
the hands of a sibling, and more. 2018.
