website also provides subscription (and unsubscription) options for the
following mailing lists:
a. HEALTH.MIL - This mailing list is used to distribute Military Health
System (MHS), TRICARE, and other health related news and information to active
duty, guard\reserves and retired (under 65) military members, their families and
other interested personnel.
b. RETVET-INFO (aka MILRETVET-INFO) - This mailing list is used to
distribute general information to military retirees, veterans and their families
concerning new and updated military and VA policy, rules, technology, forms,
etc, along scam alerts and other such info which may prove useful.
5. ATTENTION ARMY AKO ACCOUNT HOLDERS: If you are still receiving Email
messages thru your AKO account, you must take immediate action to provide all
concerned an alternate address to which they can use to send messages to you.
AKO shut down all mailboxes on its NIPRNet and SIPRNet email systems on March
31, 2015, but continued to forward email for Army Common Access Card (CAC)
holders. However, all mail forwarding will cease on June 30, 2015. All email
messages addressed to @us.army.mil accounts, after June 30, will be returned to
senders.
