a. For this year only, you have until Dec. 31, 2018 to enroll in a new
plan or make changes to your enrollment (e.g., switch from individual to
family enrollment).

Open Season or after a Qualifying Life Event (QLE), as outlined at

2. Eligibility for the Federal Employees Dental and Vision Insurance
Program (FEDVIP), offered by the U.S. Office of Personnel Management (OPM),
expanded to include certain retired uniformed service members, active duty
family members, and survivors. The first opportunity for you to enroll in
FEDVIP was this year's Federal Benefits Open Season, which ended on December
10.
a. You may still be able to enroll in FEDVIP if you experienced
extenuating circumstances during open season that prevented you from
enrolling at that time. To review your enrollment options, go to
