Painted Buntings showed up yesterday and Orchard Oriole chatter is now fairly
common. A nice list of early migrants was on the Sightings Board but one had to
"work" the woods to get them. The levy trail in Smith Oaks is open, Great
Egrets and Neotropic Cormorants are siting tight on eggs and mating spoonbills
indicates nest building will start soon.
