I had a doctor appointment down the southwest freeway in mid-morning and on
the way there had a couple of swainson's hawks heading northeast over town.
Another probable from the window at least a buteo with a great dihedral.
Now another adult light swainson's here at the house when I had binoculars.
Several vultures up there too; several vultures have gone by for the last
2-3 days.
A little early for more than a stray swainson's here although the first
California birds are moving. Could be part of the population that does not
go to argentina etc.
