I have photographed banded Plovers and if you send the photos to:
npwrc.ternplover@xxxxxxxx <mailto:npwrc.ternplover@xxxxxxxx> they can let
you know where this bird was banded.
They appreciate all banded or flagged bird information. That is how they
are tracking these birds.
I sent them photos and information about where and when I photographed a
Piping Plover at Sunset Lake in Portland Oct. 2015 and they replied that
the bird was banded as a 15-day-old chick on 2 July 2014 on an alkali lake
near Comertown, MT.
This bird was also photographed at Sunset Lake in Portland in April.
