Hey all!
I just had a Zone-tailed Hawk fly right over me on the way to class. It had the
unmistakable yellow cere and the banded tail. Flew no higher than 25-30 feet
over me. I even had a non birding buddy confirm that he saw the tail band too.
I’d say that’s a pretty good reason to almost be late to class!
