I frequently receives inquiries about this species appearing in human
environs, often asking for an ID. My usual response (besides the ID) is
that the specieds has adapted well to co-inhabiting with humans, assuming
their needs for nests sites and food supply are met. However, I don't
recall when these birds "inhabited" a hot tub!
