Hi Texbirders,
It's been a while! I still exist and miss y'all terribly - state and
birders, both. Houston Audubon has invited me to be the March speaker, so
while zoom isn't exactly my preferred format for this content, I'll give it
a go. There should be enough information for everyone to find something
applicable to their situation!

This presentation will mostly focus on the wide variety of collision
prevention products, DIY collision solutions, a PSA for ahnow.org (it's a
site and an app to help you find wildlife rehabbers), and piles of
resources and ways to get involved and make the planet better for birds.
It's my understanding that the presentation will be recorded and posted on
the Houston Audubon facebook page for at least a few weeks afterwards, in
case timing doesn't work out.
It breaks my heart that traveling isn't really a thing this year, I'd jump
at the chance otherwise. My thoughts are with y'all re: these last few
weeks, it's been agonizing to see updates of the bird deaths and human
suffering and feel helpless from so far away. It's just not right to be 12F
in Michigan and see single digits being recorded in central TX.
Anyway, thank you all for being my birding family and home, it's surreal to
have been out of state for the last 6 years, not a day goes by that I don't
miss it.

committees, including currently with Detroit Audubon and Black Swamp Bird
