Had a day birding Williamson County today. Spent the morning in southeaster Williamson and the afternoon in the Grange area. I tallied 50+ species for the day. Those of note include a Bald Eagle, Hooded Merganser, Pileated Woodpecker and two Canvasbacks. There were a huge number of duck species on the CR 449 pond south of Taylor estimated at over 750.
